Supoort in Hessen
- Mentoring Hessen - Mentoring Hessen is a joint project of Hessian universities and universities of applied sciences to advance the careers of women. The aim is to increase the percentage of women in attractive specialist and management positions in both academia and business.
Foundations and Associations
- Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard-Stiftung - financial support for female graduate students with children (deadline November, 30)
- Daimler and Benz Foundation – Bertha-Benz-Preis - Young female engineers who have created value added for society with the findings of their dissertations may be nominated for the Bertha Benz Prize by their scientific institutions. (deadline March, 1).
- Deutscher Akademikerinnenbund e.V. – Förderausschuss - Grants for printing cost (i.e. of thesis) as well as and travel costs for young female scientists (no deadline for travel costs in 2024, otherwise April 14th and October 15th)
International
- L'Oréal-UNESCO-Preis: For Women in Science Germany - For Women in Science Germany promotes four female early-career scientists working in Germany each year - with an award worth 25,000 Euros. (deadline April, 30)
- EU Prize for Women Innovators - Awards for a total of nine innovators in three different categories (no 2024 deadline)
