Interactive exhibition

Experience hands-on science at interactive exhibits in the SCIENCE POP-UP, discover the smallest building blocks of the universe and take a look into future research with FAIR. From atomic nuclei to particle accelerators and cosmic processes — go on a particle hunt yourself and explore the universe in the laboratory with us.

Free admission for all curious minds from 5 to 95 years!

School classes are very welcome (up to grade 6, prior registration is requested)

Workshops

For interested small groups, SCIENCE POP-UP also offers various workshops on different STEM topics (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology) from time to time.

School lab

After the Easter holidays, we started with an experiment for high-school students. The topic of the experiment is the analysis of radiation-induced DNA damage by gel electrophoresis.
