For smaller interest-groups, SCIENCE POP-UP also occasionally offers various workshops on different topics from the STEM field (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Prior registration is required for these workshops.

Scratch workshop: Learning to program through play

For children aged 8 to 13
In this workshop, we playfully immerse ourselves in the world of programming - with Scratch, a child-friendly programming language that uses colorful code blocks instead of complicated commands.
Together we develop small games, animations or interactive stories - without any previous knowledge. Step by step, the children learn how to turn their own ideas into code while thinking creatively, solving problems and understanding logical processes.

• No prior knowledge required
• Ideal for curious kids and first programming experiences
• We provide the necessary laptops
