Guesthouse rooms equipment and location

Rooms:

  • The Guesthouse has 28 single rooms spread over four floors. Each room has a small fridge for drinks.
  • Bathroom: All rooms have their own bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.
  • Bed linen and towels: Are provided in all rooms and are changed once a week.

Shared kitchen:

  • A well-equipped kitchen is available for all guests for shared use to prepare meals.

  • The cost of a single room is 45 euros per night.
  • An extra bed is possible to a limited extent (surcharge 10,00 per night)

Nice to know

  • The guesthouse is specially designed for beam time users, who have priority when booking.
  • If you need fresh bedding/towels in between, there is an equipped box in each corridor. Please help yourself!
  • Once a week the rooms get cleaned, at the same time the bed linen and towels are changed. Additionally on two more days waste is disposed of .
  • The location on the GSI/FAIR site allows quick access to the research facilities. The bus stop for buses to Darmstadt is a 15-minute walk away, the Wixhausen train station is 30 minutes away and a shopping center is 25 minutes away.
