The extreme and complex requirements for the operation of the GSI accelerator facility and the realization of the FAIR facility result in innovative technologies that meet high standards and provide solutions for complex technological challenges also in industry and society.
To ensure that our ideas can also be transferred into applications, we cooperate with industrial partners, make our scientific and technical expertise and infrastructure available through our offer of contract research and contract work, offer the production of components, membranes and electronics as well as beam time for industrial projects and have a versatile IP portfolio for licensing.
GSI/FAIR has two main transfer missions:
- Promotion of the culture of innovation.
Creating a culture of innovation by promoting awareness and understanding of transfer options.
- Effective transfer structure.
Optimisation and strengthening of transfer activities, creation of an effective transfer structure using adequate resources.
The "Technology Transfer" staff unit offers analysis, consulting and a broad network and acts as a link between research and application.
We bring you together with the right people.
