The canteen is located on the ground floor of the office and canteen building (BK1) and is open from Monday to Friday.
About AlsterFood
AlsterFood GmbH developed in the 90s as a cooking company from the kitchen of the "Alsterdorfer Anstalten".
Today, they prepare up to 15,000 meals a day at 12 different locations.
Since 2018, AlsterFood has been part of the API Restauration family in France and thus also benefits from the expertise and resources of its five sister companies.

- Cafeteria: Mon. - Thursday 10 am - 4 pm, Friday 10 am - 3 pm

AlsterFood will be offering a reusable ToGo system. If you have any questions, please contact the AlsterFood team.
Evening and shift catering
It is possible to pre-order food from the menu MyAlsterfood of the respective week (also for several days).
The caterer will deliver the ordered food to the fridge in the guest house foyer around 2.30 p.m. on the day, labeled with the name of the person placing the order. It can be taken from there and heated in the microwave if required.
Orders can be placed either in person at the canteen, by phone on 3800 or by e-mail kantine(at)gsi.de.
The food must be paid for in advance at the canteen cash desk, otherwise no delivery can take place.
Orders for the same day must be reported to the canteen by 11:30 am at the latest.
